feedback

- good music, simple and effective and fitted in well with editing
- voyeurism involved made it interesting
- Title at the end was very effective and linked in with the theme well
- mystery was evident
- Diegetic sounds were evident in the background and the buzz of the camera may be distracting.

The conventions in this piece used are:
The fear of the unknown.
Themes of identity.
Sub genre for this opening scene was a classic thriller with an obsession side to it. The editing used was very clean cut with no glitchs. All the shots were quite long and the only real effects used was of having a red, black room (photography room). Camera work was the same throughout. There was one good shot which was shaky. There was also two shots of a camera and i believe they should of just used the second one as it was more effective. The music was the same all the way through but it had a small bass guitar beat going through which didn't fit in with the piece. The idea was good as the suspense was made by wanting to know who had taken the photos. the random shot of the person outside didn't fit in(out of place). The Tittles were simple but effective. Overal good opening.

charlie put together the final rough cut, using connors sound track. overall it worked well but we didn't film one of the scenes which was of the photos on the wall, replcaing it with objects moving in the dark room.
During our second to last lesson we have tried to put in the title 'flash' at the end of the cut.
